Mastering is not for making beats
Mastering is a post production process used to bring already mixed songs (vocals and beat) to optimal loudness and clarity. Mastering also involves adding transitions and sweetener(small amounts of eq or whatever the mastering engineer decides fits the feel of the album). Basically giving the album as a whole a smooth, clean feel.producers, DONT master your beats, they will only be mastered again...
